Rebecca Lindblade is a transplant from Frederick, Maryland and has lived in the Myrtle Beach/Conway area for the past 9 years. Rebecca graduated from Coastal Carolina University this past May with a Bachelor's Degree in Art Studio with a minor in Art Education. Rebecca joined our gallery staff on August 19, 2013.
Rebecca is now enrolled in Coastal Carolina's Masters in Art of Teaching Graduate Program. By summer of 2014 Rebecca plans to graduate with her MAT in Art Education and begin teaching.
Not only will Rebecca help set up events in the Rebecca Randall Bryan Art Gallery here at Coastal Carolina University, but she will also be working as a liaison between the local school districts and the Bryan art gallery. Creating this connection will help the Bryan gallery's involvement within the community and help local teachers integrate galleries into their classrooms by gaining access to lesson plans and activities from current exhibitions.
